The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

We love God and serve others because we want others to come to know God’s love too. Every program we offer is rooted in our passion for serving God by serving the lost, the vulnerable, the needy, the poor, the hurting, the helpless, and the hopeless.

Kip, who had become a beloved institution at the Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center in Dayton, Ohio, died in April at age 59.
