National Script Database

This database is a collection of offerings from Salvation Army writers across the USA. Each piece was written with the intention of glorifying God, sharing his Gospel, and edifying the Church, and are thus made available to you to do the same in your community. In order to encourage writers and the further development of quality works to be made available to corps and church drama teams, please find ways to acknowledge our gifted artists by giving credit to the authors.

Return To the Tower

Return To The Tower by Warren L. Maye https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cLA-X71p5a4 Remember 9/11 | History On the 4th of July weekend, and just days following the collapse of a condominium in Miami, Fla., where over 100 people lost their lives in the rubble, I decided to visit the One World Observatory at the top of One World Trade Center. It is the tallest building in the western hemisphere. From there, I looked down into the harbor at the Statue of Liberty and reflected on my 9/11 experience. Breathtaking is [...]

What if God existed as all-powerful and all-knowing but lacked the attribute of love?… Love sets our God apart from the gods of other religions.  He is love! Everything He has made and everything He continues to do in us and through us flows from His love.

“While women weep, as they do now, I’ll fight;
while children go hungry, as they do now I’ll fight;
while men go to prison, in and out, in and out, as they do now,
I’ll fight; while there is a poor lost girl upon the streets, while there remains one dark soul without the light of God, I’ll fight,

I’ll fight to the very end!”

– General William Booth
