Mission Statement

The Mission Engagement Department exists to promote the formation of skilled Salvationist change-agents for the mission field through theological dialogue, event planning, resource development, and shared strategizing.

Others is a Salvation Army initiative using fair trade principles to achieve job creation, empowerment and poverty alleviation.

Our products are hand made by producers affiliated with The Salvation Army’s community work in Bangladesh and Kenya.

LEAD Online 2022-2023

LEAD [online] is now a year-round offering. Each quarter, the Mission Engagement department at THQ will host various multi-week cohorts, and one-time webinars on a variety of topics related to corps ministry and mission.

12th America’s Korean Ministries Consultation 2022

The goal of the Americas Korean Ministries Consultation is to share an experience from different Korean descent officers and to discuss new ministry opportunities and resources to enhance their ministry for expanding His Kingdom.

Empowerment 2022

October 21 – 23, 2022
 Ladore Conference Center | Waymart, PA

People of all ethnic groups are welcome to attend this Empowerment Conference, held every two years for Salvationists of African descent, officers and lay leaders ministering to communities of African descent.
