Foundations: Introduction

We are told in one of Jesus’ parables that the wise man built his house on the rock. Any house requires a firm foundation, just as our faith does, if it is to stand against false doctrines and pressures of the world. Individuals will learn whom they believe in, why they can believe and the implications their beliefs have for daily living. Explanations and study of what we believe will assist an individual to understand their faith, be able to explain succinctly what they believe as well as to discern false doctrines that can be presented to them.

Objectives: By the end of this session, individuals will be able to:

1. Succinctly explain the 8 sessions in this seminar.
2. State a personal reason why Christian beliefs and practice are important to daily living.
