In recent years he also had the privilege of being the Bandmaster of the Enfield Citadel Band. He has also been actively involved in Salvation Army music schools for a number of years and has undertaken leadership roles both in this country and abroad. His compositional output has now more than eighty of his own compositions and arrangements published in the UK and overseas.

Sue Blyth began to sing at a very early age and at 16 gained a place at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester; then going on to study at The Royal Northern College of Music.   Four years later, she graduated with a degree in Music and Opera Studies.

Sue has appeared as a soloist in London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, The Roy Thompson Hall in Toronto, Canada and twice at The Royal Albert Hall both as a soloist and as a member of The Three Sopranos. Until recently, Sue was also a member of the group ‘Celebr8’.

Sue has been the Songster Leader at The Sale Corps of the Salvation Army in Manchester, the leader of both the Central North and West Scotland Divisional Youth Choruses and the Vocal Instructor at the Salvation Army’s UK Territorial School of Music.

Currently Andrew and Sue soldier at the Peterborough Citadel Corps where Andrew is the Bandmaster and Sue the Songster Leader.   They have the privilege of visiting many corps centres within the United Kingdom.  They have a passion to see Salvation Army music continue to evolve and are excited by what God has in store for the movement.
