The goal of MASK–UP is to provide masks for the beneficiaries and staff of the 36 Adult Rehabilitation Centers operating in the USA Eastern Territory of The Salvation Army during these days of viral concerns. JOIN US!
- Find your preferred pattern online or use the links provided in the accompanying description.
- Create as many adult–size, cloth masks as you can, using a prewashed cotton–type fabric. Please keep in mind that the majority of our ARC beneficiaries are male, so we will want them to be comfortable wearing the chosen fabrics (aka, avoid girly colors).
- Once you or your group has an initial quantity of masks completed, contact Major Elizabeth Deming (firstname.lastname@example.org) who will direct you to the Center that is currently in need of masks.
- Make some more. Pray for the individual who will wear the masks you create. Know that you have been a blessing.
These masks are not intended to protect to the level of a N95 respirator, but will provide some basic defense in their residential setting.
May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us.Adult
