We’re all cracked pots
In our quest for the power, presence, anointing, filling, the blessing of God, sometimes we ask the wrong question. Doctrinal terminology aside I think our question is better stated this way:
“How do you keep a cracked pot full?”
And the answer is, “You keep it under the tap.”
Jesus walked outside of Jerusalem after that last supper and passed the walls of the city. Vines usually cling to the walls and grow, in John 15 we find Jesus telling his disciples that in order to bear fruit, be healthy, have life, they should “Remain in him”. We are branches grafted into the vine (Jesus). The words of Jesus yesterday holds true today. Apart from Him we can do nothing. Remain in him.
