TAM Conservatory 2018

The Conservatory features instruction by working professionals and provides young people with intensive training to encourage; spiritual development, artistic excellence, leadership in arts ministries, and innovative ways of communicating the Gospel. In addition to their chosen major, students also will participate in technique and masterclasses, a spiritual formation small group and have the opportunity to view and participate in several high caliber productions.

Acceptance to the Conservatory is granted following application and audition video submission and after approval is received from the Corps Officer and the Divisional leadership.

Freshmen entering high school – age 25 may apply for admission



  • Must be recommended by DYS, DMD and Corps Officer.
  • Fulfill audition requirement by YouTube upload
  • Student enrollment will be limited.
  • Fee: $180

Major Tracks

There are seven major tracks being offered at the Conservatory. Everyone must indicate a first and second choice.

In this major track, you will explore the use of Social Media and Livestreaming in Ministry.
It will be epic.
VISUAL ARTS (click here)
In this major track you will receive technical instruction in the visual arts. You will also explore and discover ways your art can be incorporated into your spiritual experience and in ministry. Experience necessary-not for beginners. Maximum number of students: 10
COSTUMING (click here)
This is designed for students who want to gain a basic understanding of the principles of theatrical design and the study of costume design. Instruction in basic costume construction, provide tools for students to help costume the pieces for the TAM Finale performances.


Learn basics of amplifying musicians and running a sound board.
DRAMA (click here)
Traditional sketch/monologue work.
DANCE (click here)
For dancers interested in improving their technique and exploring new forms of dance as worship and ministry. Beginner to advanced tracks available.
WORSHIP TEAM (click here)
In this track you will cultivate your skills in contemporary worship leading, playing in a worship band and other aspects of planning/participating in worship.

Other Information

Leadership Mentoring

For those students who have previously attended TAM Conservatory and demonstrated advanced ability in their track. You will receive one-on-one mentoring as well as more advanced training in your chosen field of study. This track will be by invitation only. See your divisional representative.


Masterclasses will be offered again with choices such as Improv, Salsa, Stage Combat and more!
