I’ll Fight Day 2017

Due to the recent devastation caused by the hurricanes in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, our friends and family in that division are struggling in unimaginable ways. Family takes care of family, and PR/VI is part of our family in the USA East territory.

I’ll Fight Day is a time for young people in the Salvation Army to do something for others. This year, instead of us all choosing different causes, what if we banded together to support our friends and family in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands? What if we supported them by donating the proceeds from one kettle location, for one day, because we are ONE family.

We want to Stand for Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands on I’ll Fight Day! Follow these tips to get involved:

CONTACT your Corps Officer and share your passion to help.

ASK if your Corps can get involved by donating the funds from one kettle location for one day.

COMMIT to standing that kettle on I’ll Fight Day.

ENLIST others to get involved by sharing your commitment through conversations and social media using the hashtag #IStandforPRVI.

It’s simple, ONE Kettle location, for ONE Day, because we are ONE Family.

Together we can make a difference.
